A variety of materials and sizes combine to create an exciting portfolio.
Bronzes in signed limited editions are cast at the Pangolin foundry near Stroud and under Rungwe’s sharp eye there is a vast choice of patinas and polishes.
GRP, epoxy resins and car body paints are used for the lighter versions. Whether on a plinth or freestanding, ready to roll around the grass, they are just under a metre in diameter, tough and totally weather proof. Any choice of colour is available from metallics and pearlescents to standard RAL colours.
Old style carving has created a Sphelix in wood and laser and water jet cutting will soon be used to create sphelix in stone and glass.
